Strategic Vision & Business Development
As a start-up, the RLab education team created from the ground up a comprehensive model of educational programs to close the skills gap in emerging technology fields in NYC. We developed a multifaceted strategy with programs and learning outcomes designed and marketed for a range of audiences, including C-suite executives, entrepreneurs, software engineers, designers, and current college students. In 2 years, we created a set of products and programs that generated a revenue stream projected and actualized at over 1M per year.
Human Centered Design for AR & VR
Program Creation
We developed quick-to-market products based on extensive customer research and interviews, launchinga series of successful onsite and online Master Classes and Technical Intensives. Designed through a collaborative process with RLab Education Team, NYU faculty, and industry professionals these jam-packed intensives gave learners the opportunity to demo VR/AR applications that are not publicly available, use hardware and equipment that has traditionally been inaccessible for education purposes, and get hands-on practice rapidly prototyping ideas with immediate feedback and critique.
Multi-user VR Experience
Community Events
In collaboration with Emeritus Management Group, we are developing two 6-month long certificate programs for XR in Engineering and UX for Emerging technologies. Due to the cutting-edge nature of the content, these programs are unlike anything else on the market, so course outlines and curriculum were developed from scratch through a collaboration between industry professionals, university faculty, learning designers, and hiring managers. Courses consist of 20 hours a week, including recorded lectures, screencasts, assignments, group projects, career coaching and mentorship, and real client work and industry engagement. The first Professional Certificate in UX Design for Emerging Technologies hits the market on Dec 17, 2020.
